I bought this stainless steel pan set because my old non-stick set was starting to peel. I've heard a lot about stainless steel pans and decided to try it myself. When I first opened the set, you could tell they were heavy pots and pans. The pans are a good weight and seem to distribute the heat very evenly throughout the pan. I should point out that it's very important to season the pans (butter and heat the entire stovetop) to keep them from sticking. The process is very simple and is detailed in a small instruction card included with the kit. Since I've had them, I've made many dishes with fried fish, eggs, and clam chowder, and everything has been delicious. Would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable set of stainless steel pots and pans.
