Review on NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Earth Science Kit by Brett Morrison

Im impressed with this science experimentation kit. I love how many experiments are included in this set. The kit includes a small booklet with clear instructions on how to conduct the experiments. In my opinion, this set is geared more towards children aged 10 and over. It looks like this age group can get through this with minimal help. My kids are younger, older is 7 and I think we could go through some of these together but he will definitely need help. He's really looking forward to trying them out, he thinks the volcano experiments are particularly cool and his 5-year-old sister is sure to join in and help. I see it as a great family activity, especially in the summer when the kids want to have some fun. I think it's great that the science behind the experiment we're working on is clearly discussed so we can all learn what, why and how we're doing it. Overall I am satisfied with this set. I like the variety of experiments included. I also like that it doesn't come with a lot of detail so we don't have to keep track of a lot. It's well organized and easy to use. I think this is a great idea for a family gift or for teens and older but as I mentioned younger children need help.
