Great product - not so good customer service

I've been ordering A LOT from Thread Nanny since I started machine embroidery in mid-January 2017. This yarn set, three 5000 yard cones of fill material, two 50 cones and one 20 cone. -conical thread kits direct from their website. I haven't had any major issues with thread breaks or knotting under my machine's presser foot plate (which I've had with a few other brands, one of which was so bad it broke the bobbin case - twice. It was an expensive lesson in junk, not cheap, just bad ones Quality.) I was really happy with the quality and color of the threads. The reason I give them 3 stars instead of a higher one is that I sent 2 emails related to the addresses listed on their website (so I didn't get the email address wrong) and after 10 days did not receive an acknowledgment of receipt. let alone an answer, and there is no phone number in their contact information. My questions are relatively simple: 1) Can you purchase individual colors that you are running out of to replace the filaments in the kit? And if possible 2 :) How much do they cost and how much does shipping cost? I can't buy a whole set of yarn hoping to get what I need and it's ridiculous to even consider such an option. But if I can't get what I want without doing it, I have to switch to another filament brand. Some projects simply require heavy use of thread, particularly standing lace where the same thread is used for both the top and bobbin. The cost of replacing the spool or cone with another brand will be increased, but not as much as buying 50 colors if you already have 2 of the 49 colors and only need one that you don't have.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
