Review on πŸ” Master the Skies with Celestron's 20x80 SkyMaster Pro Astronomy Binoculars by Hien Quang ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Medium quality, especially for that kind of money.

Binoculars were given to me. I've only been using it for a week. Immediately after the start of use, an unpleasant moment was noticed: the right diopter-adjusting eyepiece was knocked down. Those. I have normal vision in both eyes, but the right eyepiece at the zero position shows a very blurry picture. I had to completely turn the eyepiece counterclockwise until it stops. And only in this position did both eyepieces show sharply. Second, the rubber lens caps don't fit snugly and fall out all the time. Third: as I wrote in the shortcomings: in the center the picture is sharp, but sharply deteriorates towards the edge The sky is not yet pleased with its purity, therefore, as an astrobinocular, it has not yet been used. When observing the terrain, it shows a good picture, but the clarity is still not enough. Using binoculars Olympus zoom 8-16x40 at 16x magnification from a distance of 2 kilometers I calmly read the text on the billboard. On Celestron 20x80 the text is visible, but it is not possible to read - there is not enough clarity.

Pros
  • Large aperture, tripod mount.
Cons
  • Image sharpness deteriorates sharply towards the edge of the picture.
