Review on JVC HRXVC12S Progressive Combo Player by Marcus Hargrave

Revainrating 1 out of 5

JVC has a terrible history of quality/reliability with two decks.

I recommend customers read Revain's reviews of JVC's retired 2-deck VHS/DVD units before purchasing a current 2-deck model. They have a proven history of extremely poor build quality. JVC continues to change model numbers rapidly, making them difficult for consumers to identify. However, they all look very similar, with slight cosmetic differences. Locate these part numbers and see for yourself: JVC SR-MV40US *Building defect, I have bought and returned three of these units (December 2007)* A defective DVD drive is a known unavoidable problem with any unit (11/2007)* Worked good as long as it worked (10/2007) d. )* Drive failure on most drives after 5 months (08/2007)* No luck with it (06/2007)* Problem device (05/2007) JVC HRXVC27U (5 1 star out of 8)* 1 year and 1/2 and it died (02/2005) * Worst home electronics I've ever had (03/2006) * Barely out of warranty (10/2005) * J should stand for Junk (05/2005) JVC DRMV5S (8 1 stars out of 16) * Do not buy the JVC DRMV5S DVD.
