I need a reliable backpacking oven for hiking and solo camping. This product more than fulfilled it, I was finally able to test it. I have to say it takes up very little space in my backpack and I used some bark as dry leaf tinder when building it. When I got it I started straight away with twigs and small twigs, I started a fire over the stove, I set it on a 6" skillet and let it heat up when it was done, I deep fried an inch thick ribeye in the pan until it was a perfect filly. When I had dinner and cleaned the pot, the stove was off and it was cool to the touch, I wiped it down, put it in my bag and put it away for the night. Highly recommended, this oven is a workhorse. So super small and light is a great addition to my backpack.
