I'm not sure if it will work with this particular camera but it doesn't work with everything I tried to connect it to. It doesn't show that a camera is connected, or it shows a Windows error. Buyers be careful. I was useless to me but not worth the time to send it back. I'll probably cut it up into chunks and use it to power a 5 volt device. Or hang up a picture. From what I can tell and what I've experienced, the real way to connect a camera to your Mac or PC is to get Apple connectors that connect to Firewire 800 and then buy an adapter to go from there to continue. They're a little expensive. That's why people will use this cable, but I think it's too good to be true.
