Review on πŸ”Œ Enhanced Network Control with Socket Intelligent Control Support by Fredrick Edwards

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good device for my needs

I would like to turn all the outside lights on and off automatically every night. Until now, the only option was to set a timer. This requires more effort and also for people who are familiar with electrical work and you also need to replace the switch plate if it is one of the group plates. I can do it, but I prefer something less complicated. I decided to test this concept and bought 4 outlets for $50. The price is quite high but in the long run it saves me money on my electricity bills which will justify the purchase. The installation is very easy. Download the application and plug the socket onto one of the table lamps for easy programming. The outlet turned on automatically and the app on my iPhone recognized it automatically, as did the Revain Alexa. Once it is detected, you can run the program during the "power cycle", label the socket correctly, and then install it in the specified location. Installation consists of taking out the lightbulb, screwing this device, and then screwing the lightbulb back in. The socket automatically connects to the WiFi as soon as you turn on the light switch and leave it on. When the light switch is on, you can use the app to start turning the outlet on and off as needed from anywhere in the city or the world. Please note that if you have a 5GHz router, you need to make both 2.4GHz and 5GHz available. This socket and other Wi-Fi devices that you use in the future only use the 2.4 GHz frequency. That's why I rated the device 5 stars for comfort, ease of use and ease of installation. The only "not very good" is the price. ALMOST A YEAR OF USE. Since March 2020 I have been turning the lights on and off automatically every night for almost a year. No problem. Very satisfied with the product! Depending on which application you are using, the socket type may not appear in your application. Just try a "different socket type" in your application, it works the same. Later I bought a few more sockets and a plug brand that didn't match the previous socket I bought, I was able to install it with "Other Socket Types". The app I used was "SMART LIFE".
