I needed a BT system to connect my AppleTV to that had an RCA output so I could hook up Thonet & Vander bookshelf speakers and a subwoofer. That suited my needs. I used to go for a big name premium stereo receiver but I read the review and for the price it was a hassle free buy. I could always return it if it sounded bad, but as long as the sound is loud and clear, I'll get more bass out of the speakers. I ordered a subwoofer to connect to the receiver, but unfortunately it didn't come. That this can also be used as a karaoke machine is a bonus, now all I need is a microphone to try it out. So far I'm glad I took the risk of buying the PTA24BT.
