After a few months I can say with confidence: do yourself a favor and just spend the extra money on a better adapter. When I opened this one up, it already had wires coming out of the box itself. I kept trying because I could put the wires back in. This worked for a few days, but then stopped working properly. If the adapter is bumped or moved, it disables the internet and only works when held in a certain position. However, it still worked from time to time and I only work 2 days a week so I didn't need it very often so I kept using it (when it worked). Recently, it doesn't work at all and even stops glowing, indicating it's connected. In the end I couldn't take it anymore and ordered elsewhere.
