So far I'm very happy with this product. I have 3 very large dogs (1 German Shepherd and 2 Great Danes) and my German Shepherd was recently diagnosed with elbow dysplasia. To save my back from lifting it up and then out of our 4Runner I bought this one. I also expect it to be easier on my back as my Great Danes slow down as they age and are no longer able to jump on their own. The three photos I posted show the steps unfolded, removed and with steps removed. To fold the steps, pull the black pin and rotate it up. To remove the steps, pull the red pin and pull out the step. Note that the bottom tier has 3 lateral settings in my opinion and is the farthest setting in my shots. The video shows my dog walking down the steps and then how to remove the steps. I would recommend these steps to anyone who has a dog with mobility issues or a small dog that can't hop onto your SUV.
