A bit disappointed with the Mahl Stick
Originally when I ordered the Mahl Stick I thought I would get an oak stick in the shape of a dowel. But to be ok it needed a two piece aluminum bar that bolts together. I thought this is not normal, the 2 sticks don't match in color and the bottom is scratched like before? The purpose and use is the same as the other sticks, although slightly misaligned when screwing together. This may not be a problem if you don't use straight lines to draw.
