Review on Premium Central Air Conditioner Cover - 36 x 36 - Top Universal Outdoor AC Cover Defender - Modern Wave Design (Mesh, 36x36) by Adam Webbie

Just yesterday I installed a Modern Wave 36" x 36" air conditioner cover on an outdoor unit. My SEER 18 unit measures 35+ inches at the top. I was looking for something to keep pine needles, pine "flowers", various leaves and oak "flowers" from getting into the unit and blocking the drain holes. and just rot there. It looks like the mesh on this cover will stop the needles, but it can miss a direct vertical hit - maybe. The time will tell. Everything else will definitely stop. Only about 0.5 cm of the grille is left open, but the entire area above the fan itself is completely covered. Just before I installed the lid the unit was completely off and I carefully used a shop vacuum to remove as much dirt as possible from the inside of the floor while it was dry. Once installed, airflow didn't appear to be affected much, if at all, but I have no way of testing this with an airspeed tester.
