Review on Upgrade Your Gaming PC With Timetec 16GB KIT DDR4 3600MHz Memory Modules For AMD And Intel Desktops by David Strawn

Revainrating 4 out of 5

First Set was a Fail, Second has minor issues, but I love it.

My first order had bad stick of ram. My PC started to crash on my third day of installment. It could boot on base timings and get into desktop, but crash upon heavy loads. It also failed to boot overclocked to any degree. MemTest86 revealed errors 10 seconds into the test.My replacement is a little weird. Any OC will disable/interfere my m.2 slot on my Aorus X470 Ultra Gaming motherboard. So I just went and got an m.2 SATA and NVMe PCIE 2-In-1 Adapter and I'm all good. I take a bandwidth loss on my NVMe, but I only game and web browse on my PC.I was able to have a stable OC and tuning of 16-19-19-19-39-58-468 @ 1.35v tCL-tRCDWR-tRCDRD-tRP-tRAS-tRFCEverything else on auto. Anymore tweaking on my Ryzen 3800x and Aorus X470 Ultra Gaming is unstable even on different sets of RAM such as my Patriot Viper 4 16GB 3200Mhz and Patriot Viper Steel Series 16GB 3600Mhz.

Pros
  • Works at advertised speed and was able to tighten timings. Great ram for the price.
Cons
  • The memory may not be compatible with older systems or motherboards
