Review on ASUS VivoWatch BP Smart Watch, Black by Boyan Dimitrov ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product did not disappoint, the quality pleases.

In general, useful, for regular collection of information about the pulse and the upper limit of pressure - super. But if it is important for you to monitor the lower pressure limit, the watch is useless. Well, for maximum convenience - you need a hand of a certain size; ) Pros: A year has passed since the review was written - my mother wears the watch, she is very pleased. I did not take root on my arm because of the strap. Otherwise, no new pros and cons were found. But in general - a useful thing. - 1. Honestly measures pressure (not by pulse, the watch displays a graph of capillary pressure and sharp breathing exercises clearly affect it). 2. I made several dozens of control measurements (tonometer B. Well PRO-35) in different situations - and after calibration, the indicator of the upper limit of pressure deviates by no more than 2x the accuracy of the tonometer (2 * 3 mm Hg), but with the lower problem. 3. There is automatic monitoring of pulse and pressure every 15 or 30 minutes. But in this case, only one sensor is used (no need to put your finger on it) - the accuracy obviously suffers, but as a general picture with a minimum of inconvenience - just fine. 4. Sleep tracking is very clear. 5. Reflective screen - very convenient during the day, plus there is a backlight on the button. 6. They live a long time - for 1 day of regular manual measurements and round-the-clock monitoring, 5-8% of the charge is consumed. Has some cons: 1. Damn uncomfortable strap fastening if your hand is wider or narrower than intended by the manufacturer. The strap itself seems to be soft, but the attachment to the case is rigid, and the straps stick out along the edges of the watch. By fitting - not suitable for many women - with a narrow hand, even if tightened strongly, the lower sensor does not receive sufficient contact. 2. The lower pressure limit is not actually measured - it is very likely that it is considered relative to the upper one, because the further the upper pressure limit deviates from the indicator during calibration, the greater the error in the lower one. For example, in a calm state, both limits are +/-3 from the tonometer, but after training, the upper limit of the norm is +/-3, but the lower limit is +20. 3. For the monitoring mode, the watch itself lacks notifications for significant pressure and pulse deviations, and half of the meaning of monitoring is lost. Moreover, you still need separate limits for training. Of course, the software will later show when the pressure was not normal . but why do I need it then? 4. The software is rather tolerant - in terms of collecting and viewing data from the clock, the interface is ugly in places, the translation into 2022 is crooked, there is no data export, there are many minor flaws, for example, it does not remember the entered tonometer readings during calibration. 5. Working with notifications is a continuous problem - messages are cut off, sometimes duplicate messages from some applications (WhatsApp, Taxi, Gett), catches short-term status notifications (from the same WhatsApp that it receives messages - they appear less than 1 sec and no one sees them in life), or sends SMS, although notifications have been disabled for them. Does not comply with the rules set in the system for displaying sensitive data from notifications. Etc. 5. The strap is not replaceable, and silicone is not suitable for everyone. 6. Steps are counted when I type on the keyboard. 7. There are doubts about the correct definition of REM sleep phases.
