They will not stick to the painted floor in the garage.
Due to COVID 19 we had an annual haunted house in the garage with open doors for the kids. They didn't really hold in place on the painted garage floor. They moved and stuck to all the bottom sneakers/shoes. The kids enjoyed it. They stuck to the walls and outside of the garage. Since they didn't stay on the ground we couldn't reuse them which is a shame. They left no trace. Some small ones were difficult to pull off. With all that said I would buy it again for home use and not for the garage.
