Review on RELIAN 75 Piece Double Pointed Bamboo Knitting Needles Set, 15 Sizes (2.0mm-10.0mm), 8 Inches Length + 4 Knitting Needles Point Protectors by Amber Perez

I'm new to knitting so I ordered these because I needed DPNs. It was great, now I use some smaller ones to knit my socks so I ordered these. I love that they come in sets of 5 because I have four stitches to cast on and one to knit. There are so many different sizes included that I was amazed and thought it was great value, each set was $10 at the local knit shop and they are the same quality, bamboo and smooth. This set was on sale for 9.99 when I bought it so I was thrilled. I liked the smaller bamboo better than the big needles, the small ones were easier to handle. Large needles were not as sharp at the point of capture as small needles. The only thing I didn't like was that they are listed in millimeters and not standard US sizes. Also, the markers were erased pretty quickly, so I had to choose the size and mark with a permanent marker. It wasn't difficult, but as I'm writing a review I felt like this might be an improvement that they could change. They specify the metric label in directions. Needles are marked metric in 15 sizes: 2mm (US0), 2.25mm (US1), 2.75mm (US2), 3.25mm (US3), 3.5mm (US4), 3.75mm (US4). US5), 4mm(US6), 4.5mm(US7), 5mm(US8), 5.5mm(US9), 6mm(US10), 6.5mm(US10 1/2), 8mm (US11), 9mm (US13), 10mm (US15). They come in a large plastic bag with each set in a separate plastic bag. Update March 2019 - still using them and happy I bought them, they have proved useful. October 2020 update - they have been very useful to me. . From this I made 2 pairs of socks and several hats. I broke a couple of my O's and 1's through careless handling. For a beginner this is a good buy.
