I thought this would be great considering that pressure can cause the glands that hold the juice to rupture and loosen. After trying the product, I found that there was a decent amount of unpressed juice left from the orange. I tried using this to compress a medium sized orange and it revealed a couple of issues which I will list below. About half an inch of the orange (above the peel) was left uncrushed and I had to use my hands to get the rest of the juice.2. Using only as much force as I could put my hands on the orange, the peel formed a wall preventing juice from getting through to the flow holes on the bottom (the juice flowed over the peel as the pressure also ruptured the peel, because it was folded over itself). The crushed orange peel gets stuck in the jar and needs to be picked with your nails if you want to put more effort into squeezing out as much juice as possible. To be honest, I bought it because I didn't want to buy anything more expensive. who uses a press and a rotating device to rupture the sap glands. I also bought it to make the process easier for my grandma, but she can't apply enough pressure to even squeeze out half an orange juice. In my opinion you have to be strong enough to get close to what I would say being 65-70% compressed.
