Full Disclosure: I had never had a protein shake prior to purchasing this product. I lose weight mainly through intermittent fasting and with the summer heat I'm becoming less and less interested in whole foods. I did some research (okay, LOTS of research) and decided to buy this based on ingredients, calories, macronutrients, and most importantly, taste. Let's start by how surprised I was at the size of this bottle. It's quite a small size (serving) compared to others of this brand so I figured I'd go for a small bottle. hahaha. it's about a foot tall. Ooooh, I think I'll clear a place to camp. I opened it up as soon as it arrived and sniffed it, half expecting that whoever bought it online and loved it had never tasted a chocolate milkshake in their life and was dead. taste wrong. I was completely wrong. It smelled like powdered chocolate milk, not chemical or weird. Later that day I mixed a cup of whole milk (I used the rest before opening the almond milk, don't crucify myself) and a few ice cubes with a spoon of it (after scooping out the spoon. Tip: use a large kitchen spoon for rummaging around until you find it!) in a blender bottle (no blender ball because I'm an idiot and bought the wrong one). The color convinced me. No powder and it tastes GOOD. Not quite like a chocolate milkshake, but close enough to satisfy another day's sweet cravings. I will definitely buy more when it runs out.
