Review on πŸ‘Ά Enhance Comfort and Healing with Silverette Original Silver Nursing Cups by Paul Curington

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Buy before your baby is born

I was hesitant to buy this as the reviews were mixed and I was so confident that I wouldn't be one of those women with damaged nipples because I had learned about proper closure and all that. But my nipples have never been subjected to such intense movement and before I knew it they were two bloody sores before I even had milk by day 4. Creams and gel pads did not help healing, although they did provide some relief between feedings. Every time my baby wanted to suckle the breast, I would hold her for a few minutes and try to muster all my willpower to let her suckle at those wounds. I cried, I was in so much pain. So, in desperation, I ordered the silver ones. They took a few days to arrive so I thought I should have ordered them sooner as there was a free return option. Well they helped. I felt my nipples got better within the first 24 hours although it took a few days for them to heal. But little by little it got better. The Silverettes made me a little uneasy. When tightening, a kind of vacuum is created, resulting in a strange (slightly painful) tug. But it was nothing compared to my wounds. Over time, that uncomfortable feeling went away. I'm so glad I bought them. I regret not buying them before the baby was born. It probably would have saved me from the terrible pain I was in. And I don't care if clothes make them look weird. In fact when you wear a breast pad (reusable) they are almost invisible.
