I've been seriously considering placing Soundrise speaker stands for my desk to hold a pair of JBL LSR 305's (bigger than my desk considering the thickness of the rack's steel frame). Angle is about 5 inches above my desktop which resulted in the tweeters being at my ear level which was perfect! The characteristic "bounce" I've read describing the Soundrise speakers also describes these stands, but since the distance from the desktop isn't that great I can only imagine it's NOT THAT annoying. You will get used to it. These stands are solid (the JBL LSR 305s weigh about 10 pounds each) and due to the slight angle in the design, there's no noticeable sag. These stands look like they came with these speakers! I cannot recommend these shelves enough, especially for the price. There's no noticeable vibration transmission from these stands, but honestly I haven't cranked up the volume on these speakers yet when playing bass-heavy music. BYE BYE! And you'll still save desk space under the speakers (unless you plan on putting a dozen copies of The Brothers Karamazov there) to make noticeable changes. I hope this review helps you in your decision, and whichever direction you decide to go in, I hope that you are as happy with my decision as I am. HAPPY AND STAY HEALTHY!
