First of all, this is not a novice printer. Unless you're a punishment eater like me, stay away. Second, this is NOT a marlin or rep based printer. None of the major slicers (CURA, Slic3r, etc.) support this because the gcode commands are incompatible. The firmware is encrypted, so Marlin can run but you can't (probably non-professional work). Assembly was fairly easy and the instructions were easy enough to follow, although there are pitfalls that a less experienced builder will no doubt encounter. The frame design isn't bad at all, and with some added 90 degree panels this thing looks like stone. The engines are really good. I had to search a bit, but these are 1.68A motors and their characteristics are pretty standard. I would post a link but Amazon doesn't like it. - All-metal construction on key parts, woot! - The Titan CLONE extruder is very well designed. (I'm assuming it's the Redrex brand sold here) - The inductive sensor is very well made and works well enough as long as you feed it 6-36 volts. - Linear guides can probably support several hundred pounds of weight. great work and prints perfect overhangs e.g. B. Calicat tail. - TMC 2208 but not 2208 (this is the more recent version) - you can adjust the tension of the rails, but they should only have 3 wheels, not 4 (and only one wheel is eccentric). Runs with SKR 1.3 and TMC 2209. Bad: Titanium Bowden Extruder what? Why isn't it direct drive, but a 600mm long tube? - Encrypted 32-bit motherboard. WHY - Placing a fan on the motherboard is completely useless and should cool the drivers on the bottom, which has a large rectangular heatsink. - Linear guides. WHY. SO BIG FRICTION AND WEIGHT. This printer will probably never reach speeds above 45mm/s and if it does the print quality will be very poor. The motor mounts are made of plastic or some kind of cheese. So no grounding or heat dissipation to the frame. A tiny ribbon cable that carries a lot of electricity. Smoke? fire hazard? - Much more, but I have to go. Ugly: - Thermal Overclock is not an active stock and needs to be updated. (update is a series of gcode commands to enable it) - I just can't take it anymore. - Creepy window slicing software you've never heard of (that's a complete NO). - There's a weird mix of Philips and Hex head screws like you've never seen before. - Hotend is of very dubious quality. - I have to mention it again. The motherboard setup still gives me nightmares so never look at it. Final Thoughts: So, I copied this printer pretty hard but gave it 3 stars, why? Because it's my project printer. Fourth in a row of stupid obsession is a hobby. If you want to work hard to make this beast a winner then buy it. To be honest I have no regrets and it's a learning tool and I've learned a lot more from it already.
