Surprisingly, this watermelon cut works great! It's easy to hold and use. Simply cut the watermelon in half and use the blade on the thin side of the slicer to go through the flesh and slice the watermelon in rows. I recently took this instrument on a trip with friends and they loved it so much they would buy it too! A friend of mine had the brilliant idea of running the slicer one way over the watermelon and then the other way to create cubes. When everything was cut, we either left the cubes in the watermelon half or poured them into a bowl. To be honest, it only took a few minutes to cut a watermelon, which used to take forever! A really great tool and at an affordable price.
