Great idea, poor execution
I have 2 of these devices for checking and backing up hard drives. I also liked the idea of having IDE drives. Unfortunately, IDE drives are extremely difficult to dock (the pins tend to bend) and don't really work. The setup is odd, with an IDE docking station on the back and 2 SATA docking stations on the front. Another issue I've encountered is random drive disconnects. I've tried them on multiple computers and USB ports. IDE is meaningless and SATA is untrustworthy. Do yourself a favor and pass it on.
