Noise reduction and toner stay on until you turn it off which is why I bought it. I am a telephone operator. If you're trying to find your pair among 600 or more pairs, each with power, every little thing can help. Being 2 miles down the road and not coming back because the toner ran out is also a plus. A colleague bought 1 after seeing mine. Sometimes other cables are so noisy that you will never hear your pair without cutting every cable. This wand is well worth the money and my colleague who heard my wand on the phone was so impressed he immediately ordered his own. Great toner and wand!
