This is a miracle in a jar. Brought my WWII Carcano belt back to life. This gun had been in a 1950's DRY Portland cabinet for over ten years when I bought it. I had almost no faith that the original sling could ever be brought back to life as it cracked like a desert floor. I was reading about how to restore it and came across a forum with a gentleman who was very knowledgeable about leather praising this product. I took a chance and bought some Skidmores because I had to at least try to restore this 1936 belt. I applied it (very) generously and hung it by the buckle on the side. I let it sit for an hour, wiped off the cream and could already tell it was a million times better. It bent and had flexibility. I applied a second layer, left it on for another hour and removed it. Except for the cracks and breaks that have already occurred, the sling is as good as new! 10/10 best product for skin!
