A great idea brings with it even bigger design flaws.

Despite minimal installation and minimal overall costs, the design and quality at least leave something to be desired. The sad part is a few cents more and an IQ boost or two (or 10), this item can be as great as it looks in the photo. The thing to note here is that this is not PVC, it requires HDPE and requires a special adhesive specifically designed to fuse with HDPE. Immediately after each fitting, the neck is reduced from a 1.5" DN40 fitting to approximately 1" DN25 retail size. In a typical application, this can clog most drains, especially when simultaneously emptying (2) sinks, which is the intended use for this piece of crap. The flexible hose below is, I would say, about 1.25" DN32, whether it's flared or narrowed. (2) Female threaded fittings that mount to matching DN40 MPT sink flanges will do, so there is something for a winning column. The molded label on the combi outlet fitting clearly says DN40 but it isn't.I was struggling to dry a (white) 1.5" (DN40) piece of Schd 40 PVC pipe to install because it didn't look like it would work. and it isn't. It's about two hairs smaller than the size of the drain pipe, which is consistent with advertising, documents and the fitting itself. yeah, I can think of one, Exactly; for example shaving off a bit of the outside diameter of a PVC pipe at its final resting place but that sucks as hell and I certainly wouldn't put my signature on it to say the least. There are other products available. Pick one of these. Not this one yet.

Pros
  • Pipe fittings
Cons
