Terrible workmanship. The item itself is leaking.

Aside from having to significantly modify and add the overall connection to the external drain pipe, it matched my kitchen sinks well. But the first one I bought was leaking due to the harmonica section mating with the hard part. So I bought another one. He did the same elsewhere. Both leaks were in the purchase item itself and not in the sink or external drain connections. There must be no quality control during production.

Non-US Standard - Pipes, Fittings & Accessories

"S3 Female Nuts on All 3 Sides" Reason for return. Made in Brazil, which explains the futility. The screws at the top look like a standard 1.5 inch drain pipe. The bottom end is nothing. No screws. No nuts. An electrician's knife for cutting makes it impossible to easily install the flexible drain pipe. The size marked DN40 is too large for a standard 1.5 inch drain size. He cannot enter. The size marked DN38 is slightly smaller than the retail size 1.5". The stock gasket will be a little loose

The sad part is a few cents more and an IQ boost or two (or 10), this item can be as great as it looks in the photo. The thing to note here is that this is not PVC, it requires HDPE and requires a special adhesive specifically designed to fuse with HDPE. Immediately after each fitting, the neck is reduced from a 1.5" DN40 fitting to approximately 1" DN25 retail size. In a…
