For about 15 years we have had a collection of blue shells, mostly Asian, mostly openwork. My husband loves flan and wants me to learn how to make it so I found these bowls. Perfect size, looked strong, different shades of blue. Perfect! Love the feel of bowls in your hands filled with chunks of fruit, nuts, snack cereals and everything but pie! I'll eventually make it and I know they'll be perfect, but for now I'm enjoying them for almost everything else! Then I put them in the dishwasher and they come out perfectly clean, ready to use almost before they're back on the shelf. Now try to find a reason to buy big ones in the same style.
