The only thing that worked for me; pay attention to the labels!

This is the only thing that worked even after using those cheap felt ferrules and spray paint! I think my battery has too much clearance between the positive + terminal of the battery and the outer plastic cover. Case; I get plump white spots in just a few days. The ample use of this substance on the terminals finally put an end to the chips! I don't know how Walmart would like not being able to scan labels if I had to return it under warranty.
