We've only had problems with this router. We've had it for about 8 months now and have to reset it almost every day. The 2.4GHz channel stops working no matter what we do. We renamed the channels once and it worked for less than a day and then again told us nothing can be associated with it. We connected directly with an ethernet cable and our ISP and modem are working fine, so we know it's a router. We have a house of only 1600 sqm. feet, and we can't access the internet at all from our bedroom at the back of the house because the router in the living room isn't quite on the other side of the house. When you pay that much money for a wireless router, you expect to be able to connect to it and access it from the other side of a tiny house. I'm incredibly excited. It only gets more than 1 star because it worked great for the first few months. No issues with any of the channels or connection speed/reliability during this time. **UPDATE** We contacted Linksys for a replacement and they told us our only options were 1) to send the router back and be without it until they could send us a replacement. This is not an option as my husband works remotely as a software developer and needs internet access to work. OR 2) Pay another $180 for a new router and then ship the old router after it arrives and wait at least 3 weeks to get a refund (this assumes they actually honor and issue a refund , but we know companies when it comes to this.) In any case, we have to cover the return costs. Never buy another Linksys router again.
