I appreciate that the sock is durable and won't get lost. We have very cold winters and love to wear our robes as an extra layer over our pajamas so I wish it was a little thicker but I understand not everyone needs it. Plus, he can wear it in the summer, so it will be a year-round robe for a northerner. Fits good. He will be 9 in a few months and I have ordered 9-10. At least he fits in for a year. He usually wears a 10/12 t-shirt. Reaches mid-thigh.
