I’m a professional chef and was looking for a smaller waffle iron to satisfy the random waffle cravings. For the price point this unit was a win. Small and compact it is the perfect tool to hide out of the way when not needed. I am satisfied by this product but it does have a major safety design flaw. When you open the clamshell to fill with batter the unit wants to close because of the spring making it awkward to load the batter. A little bit of a knuckle burner if you don’t do it right. Unit makes great waffles and has a very small footprint but I can see some people having accidents when loading the iron.
