Didn't work for my aquarium water purifier
I have used all 18 filter bags and replaced them every week as directed. I tested my water and there were no significant changes in nitrate levels. If there was a change, my testing didn't show it, so I'm assuming the change was minimal or non-existent. It might work for you, but in my freshwater tank it had little to no effect.
