I am very happy with my purchase. My 2 year old granddaughter is 25# but she is slim and ordered another life jacket which was supposed to fit her but does not support her even fully on. This vest stays on her shoulders and she is very comfortable in the water wearing it. She didn't let you go in the others we bought. But with that she swims alone under supervision. She can still lose her balance and fall into the water, but she's not alone in the pool, so just straighten her back. She also doesn't panic when this happens because she feels more comfortable in this vest. I would recommend this vest as a flotation device.
