The Skwoosh Big Catch High Back Seat with Lumbar Support was a gift from my son and wife. I have to say they did a great job picking a spot for the kayak; especially given that they are not avid kayaking enthusiasts. I just installed this seat on my 2003 Wilderness System Pungo Classic. Fun fact: The Pungo is a place-in style kayak; This seat is designed for top mount kayaks. However, with some good old American ingenuity, I easily installed the seat without too much trouble. I used four nylon deck loops as attachment points. Well designed kayak seat with many features. My first impression is that he is comfortable. The manufacturer says... The longer you sit in this chair, the more you like it. I hope this lives up to the hype. In truth I know more after a day or two on the water. 2) The high backrest hugs the upper body like a rally car seat and has adjustable lumbar support. 3) The storage strap consists of an elastic cord laced on the back of the back brace. Enough for a small case of rain gear. 4) The rod holders have a PVC inner sleeve and an adjustable cable to hold the rods in place. 5) Well-designed material. Strong stitching and durable nylon webbing. 6) Adjustable straps are fitted with a brass thumb clasp "like a dog leash". Skip the cheap seats and spend the extra dough!
