Review on 🍎 St. Louis Designed Greater Goods Nutrition Food Scale - Ideal for Precise Nutritional Meal Weighing, Food Facts Calculation, and Snack Portioning by Jennifer Hirsch

Everything is OK. I like it.

I got this scale because I count calories but I'm not that interested in macros. The calorie count for the foods I usually eat is accurate, I double checked the first few times I've used it. It's good. I used to just weigh everything, record the measurements, and then google the calories of each item by its weight. This scale definitely saves a few steps. However, the included booklet is a bit strange. For the most part, this is junk food that I'm not entirely sure can be properly measured. For example, there are several entries for fried chicken. This may not be exact as different people use different amounts and types of breading, some don't add eggs, others use buttermilk, and so on. The booklet also omits some key foods, like cherry tomatoes and red onions, which differ in calories from large tomatoes and other colored onions. The scales also switch off too early for my taste. I like to set the bowl on top, press "zero" and just drop the food as I cut it and it always runs out halfway through which is a bit annoying. My other scales don't. I would buy them again and recommend them to a friend. It's not bad, just sharing a few of my minor complaints about it.
