Ideal for fairly light items.
This shelf was pretty easy to install. The solid shelf is plastic and the 'sticks' on the rest of the 'shelf' are metal. I wouldn't put anything very heavy on it but the linens/towels etc I put on it were very satisfactory. I'll probably put something on the side with just a grid so things don't fall through. I will buy a few more. The goods took a long time.
