What You Need When Powder Coating
I use these high temperature silicone rubber plugs to cover holes or small areas when I powder coat to protect against paint. Screw threads do not need to be powder coated and these plugs are great for plugging screw holes if you have the right size hole. They come in different sizes and configurations but are used for the same purpose. In addition, thermal tape of various widths is used to mask areas. All these products can withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees.
