I bought this hoping to get a cool and fun project and maybe something I could buy again to give as gifts. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES would I recommend the kegs of this company. When I received the cask, I mistakenly waited about 60 days before curing and aging the bourbon. After curing I filled it with bourbon and everything was fine for the first 35 days. Then all the problems developed. I opened the faucet to remove about an ounce to taste. After opening the faucet, it would not close and kept leaking. I had to lay the keg on its side with the plug facing up. Then the floor started leaking in two different places. It was leaking to the point where I emptied the barrel and called Red Head Barrels customer service. I was asked to send photos and explain the problem. The reply I received included the warranty terms and an offer to send wax and a case. This barrel sucks and can't hold liquid. If you want to try liqueur aging as an experiment, go to another vendor and don't use Red Head casks.
