Needless to say I barely waited 24 hours after delivery to try the colour. I confess I was skeptical that the mustard yellow powder would give me the lime green yellow I was hoping for. Oh, but he gave more! Bright, bright, perfect! I bought paint to restyle a full fit pair of breeches, a nylon/spandex mix with full fit suede. I followed Jacquard's website instructions for the stovetop method, and instead of vinegar, citric acid was on hand. The poor off-white breeches not only took on a phenomenal shade of green, but the seat turned bluish blue - an added bonus considering that my son's coloring is light green. blue and purple! Today I am ordering more flowers for 2 more pairs. I added a white cotton tank top and underwear to the pants for a smile. They both turned turquoise blue and the elastic turned the same bright green!
