Very interesting ceiling. All I used this winter was a sheet with this duvet on top. And I was hot. I even gave up the habit of wearing socks. I don't know how it can be so bright and warm at the same time. And I honestly think I slept better without my usual pile of comforters and blankets. So 100 stars for winter use. Now I don't really notice that it cools me down in other seasons. No magical cooling properties against hot flashes. It's just a nice, lightweight blanket that doesn't overheat in warm weather.
