Review on Cable Matters Grounded Outlet Smart Switch by Deelo Sylvester

This is a great product and works well. I returned an appliance that overheated and failed because I was using it to power a heater that was drawing well in excess of the 1875 watts these grounded outlets are rated for. I thought it would power anything I would normally power from a 110V household outlet, but two qualified electricians informed me that the product's failure was due to my negligence in overloading the unit. Eliza from Cable Matters was very polite and helpful. It quickly replaced a grounded outlet I had damaged, although it was my fault that it failed when I stressed it beyond its rating. I now use this to conveniently turn my clothes steamer on and off and am very happy with how it works. They are great people to work with and don't hesitate to buy from them again.
