Review on Tripp Lite Inverter Compact PV150 by Stetson Olsen

Bought to replace another manufacturer's 400 watt model. This old inverter was great but noisy with its fan. I needed something smaller, thinner and most importantly quieter. This Tripp Lite inverter is everything and more. To date I have only had one hassle free service when using it in a Crown Victoria with a dedicated factory installed cigar lighter socket. I have charged my Lenovo Thinkpad several times and always get good readings from the battery management software. I use the Tripp Lite surge protector and charge my favorite laptop without worry. I also use the Cyber Acoustic computer speaker set and subwoofer with this inverter and have not experienced any electrical noise or distortion associated with this inverter. It seems to deliver a very "clean" stream, but I'm not an expert on such things, so with a grain of salt. I can tell you I have this inverter right now powering these speakers while listening to smooth jazz with deep bass and brass and it sounds like I'm in a recording studio. No engine noise. Great inverter. I'll probably buy a few more for other cars if I ever need power in them.
