I installed this ladder on a 2014 Lund Fury XL. The size is perfect for the left mirror. Surprisingly, it's very durable and comfortable to use. When extended it hangs at a slight angle to the boat and is very easy to climb on. I installed it as close to the port side as possible so the ladder wouldn't collide with the propeller in the event of an accidental lowering. I used four 1/4 x 20 x 3" stainless steel screws with two 3 x 2 x 1/8" backing plates for the inside of the mirror, trim rings, washers, and nylon locknuts. Use a good quality silicone sealant to cover all mating surfaces and drill holes, especially if you have a wood core mirror like mine. In fact, I'm very happy with the form or function.
