Perfect fit for Tracker V 16

Installed in my Tracker Pro manual. Fits perfectly. Place it on the starboard side to use the existing handle. It screws through the transom just above the waterline. The ladder looks long enough to make it easy to get back into the boat. I haven't tried it in the water yet. Waiting for warm weather.

Very high quality stainless steel

This product was better than I hoped. It is made of high quality stainless steel and appears to be very durable. I weigh two hundred pounds and climbed into the stern of my boat over land with no problem. It falls easily from the top storage position and unfolds easily. This is a safety feature as I cannot get back into my boat on my own if I fall into the lake.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Great price

Perfect match for our aluminum boat

Many options studied. This ladder has a structure protruding from the hull of the boat, which is necessary because the hull of our boat is inclined inward, has a length that can be climbed in the water, structural strength, permissible weight, the position of the mounting brackets corresponds to the width design of the hull on the engine side. We can add a handle to the boat to make it easier to pull up on the top steps. The platform stairs were too wide to fit at the stern of the boat.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Ideal for low crossbeams.

Matches my low transom perfectly and sits above the waterline. Get a 4 rung ladder and don't choose the 3 rung option of this ladder. This ladder is ideal for fishing boats when the transom is NOT at a 90 degree angle. It has been tested to its maximum endurance and worked flawlessly all day. One of the guys here hinted that his hardware was broken, so I drilled 1/4" to 5/16" thick holes with a 1/4" stainless steel base plate to distribute the weight.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • No instructions

Couldn't hold a 200 lb person

Sorry. I weigh 197 pounds and tonight on first use it fell off my rear end. To be honest, the product is very durable, but I did not manage to install it directly on the transom. If you can find a way to use heavy bolts or whatever to mount it then you'll be fine. If you have any questions about my assembly process, please feel free to contact me. I am glad to help. I gave it 2 stars because it's a really good and solid ladder if you can assemble it properly.

Pros
  • Great for me

Great ladder for the price!

**edit** After we dived into the boat twice, the elastic piece holding the ladder is almost completely worn out, so it will probably break next time. If you have a strap holding the ladder together you don't really need the elastic ball but I found it a great feature. Another good ladder. Very stable ladder, not a cheap feeling. The steps stay in place so you can only step on 1 or 2 steps in shallow water. The rest of the telescopes. The ladder holder for the elastic cord was a nice touch. I…

Great compact ladder!

I installed this ladder on a 2014 Lund Fury XL. The size is perfect for the left mirror. Surprisingly, it's very durable and comfortable to use. When extended it hangs at a slight angle to the boat and is very easy to climb on. I installed it as close to the port side as possible so the ladder wouldn't collide with the propeller in the event of an accidental lowering. I used four 1/4 x 20 x 3" stainless steel screws with two 3 x 2 x 1/8" backing plates for the inside of the mirror, trim rings…

  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

Extremely Strong - Easy to Install

This is a very strong ladder that is easy to install. The way the brackets are made and attached to the ladder makes it easy to install the assembly tools. I used 1/4" stainless steel screws, locknuts and washers to install it through a 1-3/4" transom and a 1/4" aluminum base plate (16" x 12"). I would recommend the support plate as most of the load is on one area of the transom due to the single attachment point, but again I like to overdo the technical stuff. The ladder can be pulled out and…
