Review on High-Performance Outdoor Speakers: Polk Audio Atrium 5 with Deep Bass (Pair, White), Weatherproof Design, Enhanced Sound Coverage, Easy Speed-Lock Mounting System by Vanessa Carstens

I was replacing a pair of 15 year old Bose 151s (old version) when one finally failed. To be honest I'm not happy. The sound quality is no better (or worse). I wonder if they will withstand the elements; Build quality is not that good. This may not be an issue as they are under the eaves and will not have the same impact as my old speakers before they were moved. won't fit. Luckily, the speakers are light enough that I could easily screw in the bare wire while holding the speaker with one hand. I would rate this 3 1/2 stars if I could. Overall, though, they're slightly better than average if they can withstand the weather. UPDATE: I like these speakers better after listening to music at higher volumes. Significantly rounder sound than my 151s that I have plugged in so far. Improved bass boosted by attaching the bracket to the shaft and wall in a triangle, recommended in the instructions. Now I'm more comfortable with my 4 star rating.
