I have several of these overvoltage protection devices at home. They are invaluable when it comes to making performance available with their unique flexibility and cool looks. Note, however, that they always glow cobalt blue when plugged in. If you want total darkness, look elsewhere for surge protectors! I don't feel obligated to hide them because they are pretty cute. The orange glow looks cool and complements the overall aesthetic. I just wish there were more color options. I'd like it in brown and maybe a contrasting/light color or two (like orange or navy blue).
