It's actually just a longer MTB version which they always show above the stem. From what I remember the distance from the handlebar centerline is about 75mm versus about 60mm on the MTB version. In my opinion, a Garmin or K-Edge design that mounts the computer in front of and UNDER the top of the steering wheel is the best option. An unnecessary choice was to specify a mounting screw with a torx head. Sure, 6-bolt MTB disc rotors use a T25 bolt head, but that's about it. Road bikes don't use Torx at all, so having a tool handy is unlikely. I immediately replaced it with a stainless hex bolt from a local hardware store. It was actually a fairly small screw and a 2.5mm or 3mm allen wrench was used to install it. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade for 50 cents. Also odd is that the mounting bolt is accessible from the top on the mountain bike version, while the road version is accessible from below. Otherwise, it's a well-made and reasonably priced item.
