Perfect! There's nothing more to say about that!

Excellent add-on. Securely holds any Garmin Edge device. And much cheaper than other brands available. So save your money and buy this SRAM. Yes, you may not have a torx wrench to tighten it, but one of your neighbors probably has one. And if you don't have it, think about it. . . Most people who ride bikes in your area don't either. So once you put it on the handlebars, it's unlikely to be stolen by someone else who thinks they need it more than you do. at Home Depot, Lowe's, or your local Ace

Well maintained computer mount for several reasons

Basically a 100% plastic part with an alloy hex head screw. The plastic is malleable enough that you can increase the clearance to fit around the handlebars. I use this 31.8 3T handlebar mount with no problems. My sample weighs 19.24 grams (17.27 grams fastener, 1.97 grams screw). Reasons why you need this mount: 1. If you have other accessories (like a flashlight) on your handlebars, it will give you much needed space. This moves the Garmin device forward a few inches, allowing you to view the

Good quality, poor design features, poor hardware specification.

It's actually just a longer MTB version which they always show above the stem. From what I remember the distance from the handlebar centerline is about 75mm versus about 60mm on the MTB version. In my opinion, a Garmin or K-Edge design that mounts the computer in front of and UNDER the top of the steering wheel is the best option. An unnecessary choice was to specify a mounting screw with a torx head. Sure, 6-bolt MTB disc rotors use a T25 bolt head, but that's about it. Road bikes don't use…

Not perfect, but still worth 5 stars

Well, as everyone has mentioned, this thing has a torx screw that's not perfect. I have the bit and once it's mounted it's mounted so it's not that much of a problem. When I put it on along with a Garmin adapter (bought here for less than $6) and my Garmin 205, there was a lot of rumble. Even at low speeds it was terribly annoying. To solve this problem I filled in the attachment point with 1 strip of old handlebar tape. Closes tightly, now nothing rattles. It's still worth 5 stars to me…

Does what it's supposed to and is cheaper than the Garmin version.

I've heard two main complaints. First, it's too big for some handlebars. Get a used camera. Cut off a piece or two and use them as spacers to make the handlebar thicker. In addition, rubber provides a more secure grip. Second, you'll need a #25 Torx screwdriver. Yes, that's a problem. I went to Home Depot and bought a set of Husky Torx screwdrivers for just under $10 (make sure the set has a T25. You can never have too many tools. A SRAM set and bracket still costs less than an overpriced…

Works great and reliable

Bought one of these for each of my bikes as I move my Garmin between them. Installation was easy, but I still got it wrong. I thought it would be nice to have the computer facing me on the mountain bike since I'm further away, but didn't realize that tipping over would mean it would be open when the bike was taken in for service. When I turned the bike over to remove the rear wheel, this mount supported the full weight of the front of the bike while I tried to figure out what was wrong. I've…

Basic star screwdriver ready to use

Much has been done to the need for a torx screwdriver which I confess I was unaware of until I found out we were always referred to below the common name "Star" driver. Many people already have these drivers, so just look for a Torx or Asterisk driver before you buy any other tool - you might already have it in a kit with a few bits. That shouldn't be a reason not to get this very handy mount, even if you have to buy it cheaply at any hardware store. I can easily read my Garmin data while…
